Earlier today, you cannot go and login to the demonoid website, although you can actually ping that hostname.
Just now, when you go to demonoid, you'll get:

We had a system problem which will force us to restore everything from backup.The disks are pretty much empty right now and until we are able to upload the backup and set up everything up, we have to close down.

Note that you can still upload and download stuff (I just finished leeching the Sensational Spider-Man volume 1). Although obviously you cannot download any other torrents from the site nor is it likely that you upload/download ratio could improve...
