The element of life - available hot or cold

Yet another necessity for any home no matter where you are on earth. No doubt purified or distilled water is way better than ordinary tap water.


One downside though: it shoots up your electricity bill! Had to do something about it. First off, we don't actually use hot water that much; not morning coffee people. So that can be turned off outright. We have extra pitchers here, so fill that up, so we can turn it off overnight. Also, same with the ref, we had placed somewhere away from sunlight.

Hmmm... Wonder what else we can do to reduce power consumption around the house?
