The Good: good start, pumping adrenaline to the crowd;

The Bad: none

Mr. McMahon starts of the show

·         Mr. McMahon struts down the ring and thanks WWE Universe; WWE Universe responds with chants of "Thank you Vince! Thank you Vince!"

·         Mr. McMahon welcomes the WWE Universe to Monday Night Raw and welcomes DX;

Degeneration X kicks off the Raw 1000; Damien Sandow interrupts DX

·         Shawn and Triple H hits the ring; Shawn cuts short their pyro;

·         Shawn Michaels: "Something's missing..." underwear check, pants check, tshirt check,  glowsticks check, wristbands check...

·         Triple H: "Did there used to be more of us?" CROWD GOES NUTS!!!!

·         New Age Outlaws and X-Pac rolls in on the big jeep and joins Shawn and Triple H in the ring;

·         The DX Jeep they rode on is a nod to the DX Invasion of WCW in 27-April-1998, Monday Night Wars;

·         Triple H: "Shawn will lose his smile." Ha!

·         Damien Sandow interrupts DX; gets Sweet Chin Music and Pedigree and taken out like common trash out of the ring

The Good: nostalgic and hilarious antics; good to see them back even for one night only

The Bad: no Chyna (I guess her recent XXX exploits does not fit well with the new PG era)

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara versus Alberto del Rio, Mr.Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho

·         special guest announcer: Boomer Sooner good ol' JR Jim Ross joins Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler;

·         Jericho's 368th match (2nd to Triple H);

·         JR: "Sheamus is a walking slobberknocker."

·         Botched: Sheamus' Irish Curse Backbreaker on Jericho (not enough height, mis-sells); 2nd Irish Curse successful afterwards;

·         Sheamus powers out of Walls of Jericho;

·         Sheamus powers out of code-breaker again, dumps Jericho on the corner; follow-up Brogue kick misses;

·         Jericho to springboard but gets nailed by Dolph; Jericho reeling gets hit by Brogue Kick; Sheamus pins for the win

The Good: high flying outside the ring; good first match of the night

The Bad: botched move (but not that bad)

Charlie Sheen on Skype #1

·         says he'd fit in with DX;

·         likes style of Sheamus;

Backstage: AJ and Layla segment

Rating: B… maybe B-… I'm still creeped out by the hand. Ugh.

Sonic Car Hop Promo with Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole

Brodus Clay (with Dude Love) versus Jack Swagger

·         Jack Swagger already at ringside;

·         Brodus hits the ring with the Funkadactyls Cameron and Naomi;

·         Brodus introduces his "brother from another mother, Dude Love";

·         Jack "The Jobber" Swagger; although it looks more like a squash match: overhead belly-to-belly suplex, then big splash;

·         Brodus dances with the girls and Dude Love, who delivers a Mandible Claw to Jack Swagger;

The Good: Mick Foley's appearance (although not his best appearance);

The Bad: No mic time from Dude Love; Jack Swagger jobs getting old;

Rating: B-

Backstage: Trish Stratus teach Triple H yoga

·         Trish convinces Triple H to try Yoga;

·         Triple H bent over and Trish is behind when the rest of DX appears;

·         nod to segment in Smackdown 27-July-2000 - Stephanie catching Triple H behind a bent over Trish Stratus

The Good: Trish! Duh! :)

The Bad: sorry what? Oh, nothing…

MAIN EVENT: Wedding of AJ and Daniel Bryan

·         WWE Twitter Poll: #ajido or #ajidont;

·         Jerry Lawler introduces the reverend of the ceremony: WWE Legend Slick;

·         During Slick's entrance, Poll results: #ajido - 26%, #ajidont 74%;

·         Jerry Lawler: "I've been married so many times, I got bride's marks on my face."

·         Jerry Lawler: "Love is grand, but divorce is a hundred grand!"

·         Daniel hits the ring in an all-white suit;

·         AJ is glowing in her wedding dress as she walks down the aisle to the ring;

·         Reverend Slick says something (incomprehensible) about marriage  (sorry);

·         Daniel says yes; AJ says Yes! Yes! Yes!;

·         Before Reverend declares them husband and wife, AJ says she says Yes but not to him but to another man (funny-looking Slick's jaw drops);

·         Mr. McMahon's music hits; CROWD GOES WILD!!!;

·         Mr. McMahon introduces the new Raw GM: AJ!!!;

·         AJ skips around Daniel (revealing the sneakers beneath the dress)and left him in the ring; Bryan goes berserk;

Now that's hilarious.

The Good: AJ's character, Daniel Bryan's rants; Mr. McMahon's entrance, blowing everybody's minds!!!

The Bad: Slick did not connect much with the crowd (nice face though during AJ's reveal LMAO)

Rating: A+

MAIN EVENT: Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and the Rock promo

·         As Daniel Bryan continues his berserker rage, CM Punk comes down the ring and rubs it in on Bryan's face;

·         "You hear me Punk?! GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!"

·         On that note, The Rock comes out and joins the two in the ring;

·         The Rocks reminds everyone that he won his first WWE (then WWF) Championship at this city, St. Louis;

·         Note: Rock won his first WWF Championship on November 15, 1998, Survivor Series, defeating Mankind/Mick Foley;

·         The Rock says he will be challenging for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble;

·         Rock: homeless lumberjack + oompa lumpa == Daniel Bryan

·         Rock: "Oompa Lumpa, doo ba dee ding. You look like a troll from Lord of the Rings."

·         Daniel hits Rock Bottom

·         Special guest ring announcer: Bret "The Hitman" Hart;

·         Christian high flying with bum knee;

·         Killswitch countered ; Skull Crushing Finale countered, backflips but lands on bum leg; Skull Crushing Finale connects; Miz wins his first IC belt;

·         The Miz becomes the 21st Triple Crown Champion:

o   Nov 16, 2007 - WWE Tag Team Champion (w/ John Morrison)

o   Nov 22, 2010 - WWE Champion;

o   July 23, 2012 - WWE Intercontinental Champion

The Good: Bret Hart's appearance, though very brief; great match

·         likes that The Rock showed up and his announcement;

·         taunts Daniel Bryan, promos Anger Management;

MAIN EVENT: Triple H's challenge to Brock Lesnar at Summerslam

·         WWE Slam of the Week: Brock breaks Triple H's arm with the Kimura lock in Raw a few months ago;

·         Triple H calls out Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman comes out;

·         "I came out here to talk to the horse's head, not the horse's ass."

·         Paul Heyman says NO; Paul crossed line when he talked about Triple H's kids at least twice; Stephanie McMahon comes down to the ring;

·         Stephanie McMahon: "... Nothing more than a professional parasite." + big slap = ticked off Paul Heyman;

·         Paul Heyman: "You want to see your husband fight Brock Lesnar? YOU'VE GOT IT!!! IT'S ON! YOU AND BROCK LESNAR AT SUMMERSLAM! IT'S ON!!!"

·         Paul crossed line again when he mentions their kids again; Stephanie assaults Paul Heyman;

·         Brock Lesnar comes out and attacks Triple H; Triple H knocks Brock out of the ring;

The Good: Paul Heyman and Stephanie (great mic skills)

The Bad: Triple H knocking off Brock off the ring; just seems impossible to me, but hey, whatever; Stephanie assualting Paul (Steph's initial strike could have gone better)

·         Lita: "I did hire myself a little protection." 

·         A.P.A. stomps down the ring; Heath slides on the other side and tries to escape; Raw Legends that Heath encountered past few weeks blocked his way and threw him back to the ring;

·         Heath walks straight to a kick and a Twist of Fate;

·         Bradshaw/JBL blasts Heath with the most devastating Clothesline from Hell of all time! (nice sell by Heath);

·         Heath finished off with a Litasault.

·         And since Ron's here, there's no way that he'll not say "DAMN!"

The Good: LITA! (duh!); JBL's Clothesline from Hell; DAMN!

The Bad: Other Raw Legends are basically eye candy;

·         Kane gets in the ring but before he finishes he's flaming pyro bit, he is interrupted by Jinder Mahal, Hunico, Camacho, Tyler Reks Curt Hawkins, and Drew McIntyre;

·         Jinder says they're not given opportunities and that tonight they are going to make their own;

·         Before they can attack, GONG! Lights out, smoke rises, and Undertaker walks ever so slowly towards the ring;

·         The jobbers outnumber them 6-to-2, but get wiped out by the reunited Brothers of Destruction;

·         Double chokeslam then double tombstone; crowd chants "This is awesome!"

·         After a long pause, Undertaker and Kane do their "salute" (Taker does that kneeling pose sticking his tongue out, Kane fires up his trademark pyros )

The Good: Undertaker's bad-ass spikey trench coat

The Good: No match; No Last Ride or Hell's Gate;

Rating: B

·         Charlie taunts Goat Face again;

·         Charlie says he could meet with Daniel Bryan the next time they're in LA;

·         WWE will be back in LA for this year's SummerSlam;

MAIN EVENT: WWE Champion CM Punk vs John Cena for Title

·         Video Recap: Raw last week, John Cena says he'll cash in MITB in Raw 1000;

·         Crowd is split: "Let's go Cena!" "Cena sucks!"

·         Punk and Cena shows respect for each other during the early going; both can't get a decisive advantage over the other;

·         CM Punk countered a Five Knuckle Shuffle with a kick to the face followed  by a kick to the back of the head;

·         CM Punk goes for DTS, but was countered and pushed against the referee; down goes the referee and Cena delivers the Attitude Adjustment on Punk; goes for pin but referee is out;

·         Big Show runs down the ring, spears John Cena, lays him out with a WMD, then leaves;

·         CM Punk hesitates for a long time; ended up waiting too long, as Cena kicks out when he finally decided to cover Cena, but he kicked out;

·         Second GTS countered with STF; Big Show returns and beats John Cena senseless;

·         Rock runs out and lays out the Big Show with one of the biggest spinebusters you've ever seen;

·         People's Elbow was blocked by a clothesline from Punk;

·         Rock then Goes to Sleep;

·         Mix of boos and cheers for CM Punk; after he left the ring, there was a resounding boo from the sold out crowd;

·         John Cena is the first Mr. MITB to not win the title;

·         CM Punk continues his long reign (16 longest in the entire history so far);

Rock goes to sleep

The Good: CM Punk's heel turn; Cena creates another first (first to Mr. MITB to lose)

The Bad: none (well-executed match; great storyline)

Rating: A+
